Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to provide assessment and intervention services in Delaware, NY. The role offers a fee-for-service arrangement with potential for full-time or part-time scheduling based on caseload.

Candidates must be a licensed SLP in NY with NYSED TSSLD or TSHH certification. Prior experience with autism and AAC devices is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Active New York State license as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Board Certified or eligible for NYSED TSSLD/TSHH certification.
• Experience with pediatric populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver individual and group speech-language interventions.
• Administer and interpret speech and language evaluations.
• Collaborate with BCBA and Special Educators on language goals.
• Oversee AAC device use and optimization.
• Apply behavior strategies during sessions and monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate attendance and billing records.
• Schedule management and coordination with schools.
• Collect data for IEP goals and progress reports.

• Compensation: $110/hour

Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for your caseload.
• Administer and create speech and language evaluations.
• Ongoing communication and collaboration with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Special Educators specifically related to overall language and functional communication.
• Oversight of student’s Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
• Utilize students’ behavior management strategies and behavior intervention plans during sessions.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school districts, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedule.
• Collect data on each IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
