Job summary

York Hospital in Maine is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our pediatric therapy team. This full-time role involves providing speech therapy services to pediatric patients, performing initial evaluations with families and physicians, and developing ongoing therapy plans within the CarePlan framework.

The position requires at least one year of SLP experience, preferably in pediatrics, excellent customer service, and a Maine SLP license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Speech Language Pathology experience, pediatric experience preferred.
• State of Maine SLP license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to pediatric patients.
• Make initial evaluation and plan with patient, family and physician for ongoing Speech Therapy services.
• Initiate, review and implement Speech Therapy CarePlan for each patient based on assessment.
• Revise CarePlan when indicated.
• Initiate appropriate preventative and rehabilitative Speech Therapy procedures.
