About

THERAPY 2000, a home-based provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, has an exciting opportunity for a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to serve families in San Marcos, Texas and the surrounding areas. This full-time, part-time, PRN position is based in our Austin division.

What you’ll do:
  1. Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
  2. Develop and implement relevant treatment plans in collaboration with physicians’ orders.
  3. Create home exercise programs for patients in partnership with caregivers.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
  5. Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
  6. Maintain accurate documentation, including chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs.
  7. Participate in meetings to ensure understanding of expectations and standards.
  8. Follow all agency policies, procedures, and applicable laws and ethical guidelines.
What You’ll Need:
  1. A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in Texas.
  2. Reliability and an innovative approach.
  3. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  4. Proficiency with workplace technology (laptop, phone, email, web browser).
