About
THERAPY 2000, a home-based provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, has an exciting opportunity for a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to serve families in San Marcos, Texas and the surrounding areas. This full-time, part-time, PRN position is based in our Austin division.
What you’ll do:
- Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
- Develop and implement relevant treatment plans in collaboration with physicians’ orders.
- Create home exercise programs for patients in partnership with caregivers.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
- Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs.
- Participate in meetings to ensure understanding of expectations and standards.
- Follow all agency policies, procedures, and applicable laws and ethical guidelines.
What You’ll Need:
- A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in Texas.
- Reliability and an innovative approach.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency with workplace technology (laptop, phone, email, web browser).
Bonus Points For:
- 3+ years of pediatric SLP experience.
- Experience in home-health settings.
- Specialized certifications (e.g., feeding therapy, VitalStim).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
