Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – Home Health

This position is available in the following areas:

  • Southside / Harlandale / Missions
  • NE New Braunfels / Schertz / Cibolo / Universal City / Live Oak / Windcrest
  • Alamo Heights / Thousand Oaks / Olmos Park

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Description: We are currently seeking candidates to service in the specified areas. This position requires an active SLPA license within Texas. We offer observation/experience hours for those pursuing their license.

Job Summary: The SLPA will assist in delivering therapy to individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, reviewing, and updating individualized care plans
  • Delivering speech therapy services and activities
  • Maintaining patient records and clinical notes
  • Participating in case conferences and staff development
  • Communicating with the supervising therapist, agency, clients, and support managers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
