Job description

About The Therapy Place

The Therapy Place is a pediatric therapy center and private school focused on helping children grow, learn, and succeed. We provide speech, occupational, physical, and behavioral therapy, along with specialized educational programs, all in one supportive setting. Our team works closely together to give each child consistent, individualized care. We value collaboration, open communication, and building strong relationships with the families we serve. At The Therapy Place, you’re not working in isolation—you’re part of a team that shows up for each other and for the kids. You’ll have the support you need to do your job well, the ability to collaborate across disciplines, and the chance to see real progress in the children you work with.

About The Role

The Pediatric Speech‑Language Pathologist is a full‑time, hourly position responsible for providing evaluation, treatment, and ongoing care for children from birth through age 18. This role focuses on helping children develop communication, language, speech, feeding, and swallowing skills through evidence‑based speech‑language pathology services.

Speech‑Language Pathologists at The Therapy Place work with children presenting with a wide range of diagnoses and developmental needs, including speech sound disorders, language delays, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, feeding challenges, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs. You will develop individualized plans of care, provide direct therapy services, and collaborate closely with families to support carryover across home, school, and community environments.

This position offers the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team that includes occupational therapists, physical therapists, educators, behavioral health professionals, and support staff. Therapists may also collaborate within the Bridges School program, supporting an integrated therapy and education model.

This is a full‑time, hourly role with consistent scheduling and the opportunity to earn overtime based on caseload and clinic needs. In addition to competitive hourly compensation, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, including partially company‑paid medical insurance and fully employer‑paid dental, vision, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, and life insurance. The role also includes paid time off and a retirement plan with a company match of 50% of employee contributions up to 5%. Ongoing professional development, mentorship, and continuing education are supported as part of the role.
