We Are Hiring

• Department: Pediatric Rehab Services
• Schedule: Full-time Days, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• Hospital: Seton Highland Lakes Hospital
• Location: Burnet, Texas

What You Will Do

Evaluate and treat patients requiring speech-language therapy.

1. Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
2. Educate and counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
3. Maintain clinical records and follow performance improvement recommendations.
4. Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from speech therapy services, providing information about appropriate support programs.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained prior to hire or transfer; Texas-Speech Language Pathologist - Intern also accepted.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience, or an Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.

Additional Preferences

• Minimum of 3 years outpatient pediatric experience.
• Infant and complex feeding experience.
