Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - San Mateo, CA

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of speech therapy experience
• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
• Current State Speech Language Pathologist License or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings (preferred but not required)
• Familiarity with IEPs and the special education process

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders, from Pre-K to middle school
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies into classrooms
• Maintain documentation of services and student progress
• Conduct screenings and evaluations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
