Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital invites applications for a Clinical Pharmacist at the Phoenix Childrens Specialty Pharmacy. This role provides clinical services to patients from neonate to adulthood and handles order fulfillment.

The schedule currently is Monday-Friday 8AM–4:30PM with potential changes; requires collaboration with medical staff; prior specialty pharmacy experience is preferred but not required; licensure by AZ Board of Pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (BS) or Doctorate Degree (Pharm.D) in Pharmacy is required.
• One year of outpatient, specialty, or hospital pharmacy practice experience is preferred.
• Current licensure as a pharmacist by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy is required or eligible.
• Experience with information systems and automated equipment is preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness.
• Verify and enter medication orders into management systems accurately and timely.
• Provide evidence-based medication education to patients and families.
• Supervise technicians and staff to ensure accuracy and workflow.
