AdventHealth in Orlando, FL, is seeking a Sound professional to supervise sonography staff and oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, and coordination. This role involves hiring, evaluating, and orienting team members to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include evaluating performance, updating procedures, and providing ongoing training. The position also requires acting as a sonographer when needed and coordinating with other practices to balance workloads.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, instrumentation, basic physics, patient care and medical ethics.
• Ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking with patients, co-workers and physicians.

• Measures and tracks performance levels and revises procedures to optimize patient care or workflow.

• Organizes and leads meetings and coordinates with other practices when needed.
• Develops and implements departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
• Provides training and development opportunities for staff.
• Monitors and maintains equipment and supplies.
• Addresses and resolves staff and patient issues.

Job Description:
