CHOC Specialists, affiliated with CHOC Children's in Orange County, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Oncologist with a solid tumor focus. You will care for patients from infancy through young adulthood in a collaborative pediatric oncology environment.

The role emphasizes outpatient care with inpatient rounds and APP-supported call, participation in tumor boards, and close collaboration with surgical oncology, radiotherapy, and bone marrow transplant teams.

Qualifications

• Fellowship trained in pediatric oncology with solid tumor focus.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric oncology.
• Eligible for California medical licensure.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive oncology care to children from infancy through young adulthood, with a primary focus on solid tumors.
• Practice primarily in the outpatient setting, with a shared rotation for inpatient rounds and call supported by the APP team.
• Participate in integrated tumor boards and collaborate with surgical oncology, radiotherapy, and bone marrow transplant/cellular therapy teams.
• Coordinate care with case coordinators, infusion services, social work, and families throughout treatment.
• Contribute to quality improvement, clinical program development, and administrative initiatives within the Oncology Division.
• Support community outreach and other activities that advance pediatric oncology care and education.
