PediaStaff in Winchester, VA seeks a Pediatric SLPA to support a pediatric outpatient clinic. Join a growing clinical team serving children with various disabilities and collaborating with families.

The role involves pediatric assessments, therapy sessions, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team, with emphasis on family-centered care and intervention strategies in areas like autism, sensory processing, and emotional regulation.

Qualifications

• Associates in Occupational Therapy.
• VA/WV state license for Occupational Therapy (or willing to obtain).
• At least three to five years of experience in a pediatric setting.

Responsabilités

• Serve a caseload of children and families with a wide range of disabilities.
• Assess new patients with Beery VMI, PDMS, BOT-2, SPM, Sensory Profile.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team with a family atmosphere.
• Support Zones of Regulation and emotional regulation interventions.
• Contribute to treatment planning and family education.

Tell Me More:

• Serve a caseload of children and their families with a wide range of disabilities and disorders.
• Desired knowledge/experience working with the following diagnoses: autism, down syndrome, ADHD, sensory processing disorder
• Assess new patients with Beery VMI, PDMS, BOT-2, SPM, Sensory Profile
• Prefer employee has familiarity with the Zones of Regulation/experience with emotional regulation interventions, feeding experience, sensory integration/behavior
• Join a multidisciplinary team with a strong family atmosphere
