PediaStaff seeks a Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a pediatric outpatient clinic in Winchester, Virginia. You will work within a growing clinical team serving children with diverse needs.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of pediatric experience and a VA license (or willingness to obtain). Be prepared to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support families through interventions and evaluations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy.
• VA/WV state license for Occupational Therapy (or willing to obtain).
• Three to five years of pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve a caseload of children and their families with a wide range of disabilities.
• Assess new patients using Beery VMI, PDMS, BOT-2, SPM, and Sensory Profile.

Tell Me More:

• Serve a caseload of children and their families with a wide range of disabilities and disorders.
• Desired knowledge/experience working with the following diagnoses: autism, down syndrome, ADHD, sensory processing disorder
• Assess new patients with Beery VMI, PDMS, BOT-2, SPM, Sensory Profile
• Prefer employee has familiarity with the Zones of Regulation/experience with emotional regulation interventions, feeding experience, sensory integration/behavior
• Join a multidisciplinary team with a strong family atmosphere
