Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP seeks a Home Health Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide one-on-one therapy in children’s homes under supervision. Ideal candidates have pediatric SLPA experience or recent graduates seeking growth in a home-based setting.

You will support communication, feeding, and swallowing goals, collaborate with families and the care team, and receive clinical supervision and growth opportunities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLPA program.
• Current Texas SLPA license or eligible to obtain licensure by the anticipated start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Support treatment plans addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing needs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising SLPs and the care team.
• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to support each child's goals.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to promote carryover and progress.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
