Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide one-on-one therapy in the child’s home environment. You will support communication, feeding, and swallowing goals under supervision of a licensed SLP, promoting family collaboration and progress tracking.

The role offers flexible scheduling including Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN, with sign-on bonus for full-time caseloads and opportunities for mentorship and growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
• Current Texas SLPA license, or eligible to obtain licensure by start date.
• One year of experience preferred, but new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Support treatment plans addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing needs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising SLPs and the care team.
• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to support each child's goals.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to promote carryover and progress.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
