Job summary

The Hero Clinic is hiring an in-house, full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support pediatric clients in a collaborative diagnostic + therapy clinic. This role emphasizes hands-on work with kids, teamwork, and measurable progress.

Under the supervision of a licensed SLP, you will assist with data collection, maintain documentation, and help families practice strategies at home to reinforce therapy goals.

Qualifications

• SLPA certification/licensure eligible to practice in Missouri (per state requirements).
• Pediatric experience preferred (clinic, school, or early intervention).
• Strong organization, reliability, and a warm, child-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP, following established plans of care.
• Support pediatric goals such as articulation/speech sound production, receptive & expressive language, social communication, and functional communication.
• Prepare session materials, assist with data collection, and help track progress toward goals.
• Complete timely documentation and communicate clearly with the supervising SLP and clinic team.
• Reinforce caregiver education and home practice strategies as directed by the supervising SLP.
