Job summary

MOST/DFW is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join an interdisciplinary team of therapists in the Fort Worth area. The role is in-clinic, across 2–3 ABA centers in Northlake (Argyle) and Roanoke, with a part-time 1099 contract that can grow to full-time based on availability.

Qualifications

• Must hold an SLPA license to practice in Texas.
• Minimum 1 year of speech therapy experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with pediatrics, autism spectrum disorder and/or sensory processing disorder preferred.
• Willingness to collaborate with a dynamic team of therapists.
• Willingness to commit to a minimum of 20 working hours per week on a 2-, 3-, or 5-day schedule.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Background check required.
• Laptop or tablet to document via EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services in clinic at one of our partnering ABA locations.
• Collaborate with co-treating therapists to share ideas and techniques.
• Implement therapy programs to improve daily living skills and overall quality of life.
• Track and record client progress and mastery of goals, maintaining confidentiality.
• Participate in progress reports and meetings related to therapy goals and disciplines.
• Educate families to promote generalization of skills and carryover.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications and networking.
• Attend continuing education to enhance professional excellence and orient new staff.
