Small Talk Pediatric Therapy in New Albany, IN seeks a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to work under a supervising SLP with children. You’ll help implement treatment plans and deliver engaging activities tailored to each child’s goals, interests, and needs.

This full-time, in-person role values collaboration with families and colleagues, ongoing supervision, data collection, and documentation. New graduates are welcome, and the schedule offers four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days.

Qualifications

• Completion of an educational pathway that meets applicable SLPA credential requirements.
• Current SLPA licensure or registration, or eligibility to obtain before starting clinical work.
• Strong observation, organization, and documentation skills.
• Clear communication and collaborative approach with families and colleagues.
• Commitment to individualized pediatric care and required supervision.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.
• Provide engaging therapy activities supporting speech, language, and communication goals.
• Collect accurate treatment data and document each child’s performance.
• Share observations, progress, and concerns with the supervising SLP.
• Reinforce home practice activities and family education as directed by the supervising SLP.
• Prepare therapy materials and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
• Participate in supervision and incorporate feedback into your work.
• Collaborate with teammates while following scope-of-practice and supervision requirements.
