Job summary

Total Rehab / Total Rehab Kids is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support licensed SLPs in delivering care to pediatric clients. This role focuses on implementing treatment plans, conducting therapy, and tracking progress to improve speech, language and swallowing skills in a multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, documenting client progress for supervising clinicians, and maintaining a safe, engaging therapy environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Certification or licensure as an SLPA in the relevant state.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans as directed by a licensed speech-language pathologist.
• Conduct therapy sessions with clients, focusing on improving speech, language, and communication skills.
• Document client progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising speech-language pathologist.
• Prepare materials and resources for therapy sessions to ensure engaging and effective treatment.
• Maintain a clean and organized and fun therapy environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
