Job summary

Creative Speech Solutions, LLC, a pediatric therapy center with offices in Summit and Montclair, NJ, is hiring a part-time speech-language pathologist to join our growing team on Saturdays.

Responsibilities include evaluations and direct therapy for pediatric clients in private practice/medical settings, with potential coding, reporting, and collaboration duties. School-based work involves IEPs and compliance with NJ laws.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited speech therapy program.
• NJ State License, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), NJ School Certificate (SLS) and Criminal History Review (CHR—fingerprinting with the state of NJ).
• Minimum of two years of work experience in pediatric private practice and/or school setting.
• Experience providing therapeutic services for children with delays or disorders at various development levels.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule during the day and some evenings.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills and a strong desire to work with children with developmental disabilities.
• Patience, persistence and ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and direct therapy for the pediatric population in a private practice/medically-based setting.
• Code for insurance billing, write reports and collaborate on treatment.
• School-based therapy would involve case management, IEP development and adherence to NJ state laws.
