Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking an Intern Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, organize, and conduct pediatric speech therapy in a home health setting. You will direct the patient and caregiver in targeted tasks to support performance.

The role requires a Master’s in SLP, current licensure, CPR, and a valid driver license. Pediatric/home health experience is preferred; strong teamwork and scheduling flexibility are valued as you join the CARE culture.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state-issued professional licensure.
• Valid state driver license.
• CPR certification.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical treatment to pediatric patients in home health.
• Perform evaluations with focus on receptive and expressive language, speech fluency, articulation, and auditory skills.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients and family members to appropriate services.
• Consult with supervisor on patient progress and maintain records.
• Participate in supervised visits as outlined by state requirements for Speech-Language Pathology.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
• Attend in-service and Quality Improvement activities.
• Maintain an adequate caseload with productive work.
