Job summary

Care First Rehab is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our home-based team in North Carolina. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges in children within their home or daycare environment.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and families to deliver play-based, developmentally appropriate therapy. The role emphasizes autonomy in scheduling and meaningful, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience with diverse pediatric populations (infants → adolescents).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage children in natural environments.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Assessments: evaluate speech, language, and communication skills to set goals.
• Individualized Therapy: implement evidence-based, play-based approaches for articulation, fluency, and social communication.
• Family Empowerment: work with families to provide strategies and resources for home development.
• Care Coordination: collaborate with educators and other therapies for holistic care.
