Job summary

KidsCare Home Health in Colorado Springs is seeking an Intern Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and deliver pediatric speech therapy in home settings. You will guide caregivers in therapy tasks and reinforce progress to enhance outcomes.

Requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, current state licensure, CPR certification, and pediatric/home-health experience preferred. You will join a therapist-led team with mentorship, strive for work-life balance, and maintain detailed progress

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current state licensure in good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• Pediatric clinical and home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical speech therapy including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and family training.
• Perform evaluations focusing on receptive/expressive language, articulation, and oral motor skills.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients to appropriate services when needed.
• Participate in supervised visits and QA programs.
• Maintain supplies and participate in education activities.
• Collaborate with team to achieve department goals.
