Job summary

CABATS in Manassas, Virginia is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our pediatric team. We welcome experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows to apply.

You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized plans, provide evidence-based therapy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support communication, social interaction, and functional independence. A supportive environment with supervision and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Current Virginia SLP license or eligibility for Virginia provisional licensure.
• ASHA CCC preferred for experienced applicants.
• New graduates completing a Clinical Fellowship are welcome.
• Pediatric, autism or developmental-disability experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language and communication evaluations.
• Develop individualized, medically necessary treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy.
• Address expressive, receptive, pragmatic and functional communication skills.
• Support AAC use when clinically appropriate.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Monitor progress and update treatment recommendations.
• Educate caregivers and promote generalization across settings.
• Collaborate with the client’s multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Follow professional, ethical, licensing and payer requirements.
