Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist for the birth-to-5 population in Wyoming, NY. Responsibilities include delivering itinerant therapy across homes, daycares, preschools, and clinics using play-based approaches to engage young children and families.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, with supervision and mentorship, to provide high-quality services while benefiting from flexible scheduling and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• New York State license in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) required.
• ASHA CCCs preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide itinerant therapy services for children birth through age 5 in homes, daycares, preschools, and clinic settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, individualized care.
• Manage a localized caseload with flexible, child-led, play-based therapy.
