Job summary

The Westmoreland Intermediate Unit is seeking a Speech & Language Pathologist for its Early Intervention program at multiple sites in Westmoreland County. The role involves assessing, planning, and providing speech and language services to students, and coordinating with schools and families regarding AAC and IEP goals.

The position requires MA/MS in SLP, PA Certification or CCC, and PA license, with 0–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: MA/MS in Speech Language Pathology
• PA Certificate in Speech Language Pathology or Educational Specialist Certification
• CCC in Speech Language Pathology and/or PA State License in Speech Language Pathology
• Minimum Experience: 0–3 years related experience

Responsibilities

• Assesses and evaluates student abilities and needs including AAC
• Maintains treatment roster of up to 20 students
• Develops and implements IEP goals and objectives
• Consults with staff and parents
• Delivers group or individual therapy and information to staff
• Performs required documentation and reporting
