Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to help children build communication skills from birth to age 18. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans and set client-specific goals for verbal and non-verbal communication.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you’ll guide families to reinforce strategies at home. State licensure or eligibility in Illinois is required, along with completing your Clinical Fellowship Year.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year; SLP licensure or license eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18.
• Create client-specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.
