Job summary

Hope Center for Behavior Change, Inc. in Florida is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our collaborative Speech department.

The role emphasizes evaluation and treatment of speech and language impairments, AAC support, and dysphagia screening when appropriate for children and adolescents. The candidate should hold a Master’s in SLP, state licensure, CCC-SLP, and experience with neurodevelopmental disorders; strong communication, organization, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and treatment of speech and language impairments.
• Assessment and intervention for expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language needs.
• Support for executive functioning and cognitive communication skills.
• Dysphagia screening and swallowing-related care when appropriate.
• Assessment, implementation, and training for AAC.
• Collaboration with BCBAs and ABA teams to integrate communication goals into behavior plans.
• Development of functional, behavior-aligned communication strategies to support daily living skills.
• Parent and caregiver training to promote carryover across environments.
