Job summary

The Openshaw Spot in Milbridge, Maine is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a pediatric outpatient clinic. The role involves evaluating and treating children, creating individualized plans, and guiding families to improve daily communication.

We welcome CCC-SLP candidates with a Maine license or eligibility. Flexible full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules with collaboration and family-centered care; salary based on experience; relocation and sign-on bonus discussed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology.
• Current Maine SLP license or eligibility to obtain one before starting.
• CCC-SLP preferred.
• Interest in pediatric practice and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Complete speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide engaging therapy supporting functional communication in everyday life.
• Incorporate AAC and other communication supports when appropriate.
• Partner with caregivers and provide practical home recommendations.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists and other members of the care team.
• Complete timely documentation.
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and organized treatment environment.
