Job summary

Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA is seeking a Pediatric Sleep Medicine Advanced Practice Provider to join a collaborative team. The APP will conduct seven outpatient clinic sessions weekly, evaluating children with sleep-disordered breathing and CPAP/BiPAP therapy needs.

Responsibilities include ordering sleep studies, discussing results with families, coordinating PAP therapy with DME and home health, monitoring adherence, and ensuring timely follow-up while maintaining

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment
• National Certification in State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Provide seven outpatient clinic sessions per week evaluating pediatric sleep patients
• Evaluate and manage pediatric sleep-disordered breathing and PAP therapy patients
• Order and review diagnostic sleep studies and discuss results with families
• Prescribe and manage CPAP, BiPAP, and AVAPS therapy
• Coordinate PAP therapy with DME and home health providers; complete equipment orders
• Monitor PAP adherence and adjust therapy as clinically indicated
• Manage pediatric sleep EMR messages and follow-up visits as per schedule
