Job summary

Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join our award-winning team. This full-time position (FTE 0.90) offers a night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, orientation 8–12 weeks, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for pediatric patients.

Qualifications

• AHA BLS certification is required.
• PA licensure as a Respiratory Therapist is required.
• Two years of experience in Respiratory Therapy.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an 8 to 12 week orientation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other health care professionals to tailor pediatric care plans.
• Serve as a key member of the multidisciplinary team.
• Administer advanced respiratory care procedures and mentor staff.
