Advocate Health's Navicent Health Medical Center - School Nursing Program is seeking a licensed practical nurse for a full-time position in Georgia. The role is 40 hours per week with a pay range of $24.10 to $36.15 per hour, Monday through Friday.

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Active Georgia LPN license with BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year of practical nursing experience; pediatric experience preferred; experience with economically disadvantaged populations preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care to those ill or injured.
• Screening and referral for health care conditions.
• Medication administration, chronic illness management.
• Assist in promoting healthy, safe environment.
• Act as liaison between school, family and physician.
• Audit immunization records and student health forms.
• Document in the EMR per school system.
• Educate staff on health-related issues and treatments as needed.
• Complete online continuing education and attend meetings as requested.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
