Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in a two-building PK–8 setting near Detroit, MI. This full-time contract role entails evaluating and treating communication disorders, developing IEPs, and collaborating with teachers and families to support student growth.

The position emphasizes coordination, documentation, and flexible hours to balance work and personal life during the school year.

Qualifications

• Current SLP licensure and CCC
• Experience with pediatric populations, especially in schools
• Ability to manage a caseload of ~50 students PK-8
• Strong collaboration with educators, families and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Track student progress, document accurately, and report updates to staff and families
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions
• Offer consultation and resources to teachers and staff on communication strategies
• Foster an inclusive, positive environment to support academic and social growth
