Job summary

Cynergy Rehab Group is seeking a passionate School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. You will work directly with students, educators, and families to help children access their educational environment and gain independence throughout the school day.

Whether you are an experienced school-based therapist or transitioning into pediatrics, you will be supported by a collaborative team committed to clinical excellence and student success.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current Arkansas Occupational Therapy license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for working with children and helping students succeed in the educational environment
• School-based experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students with a variety of developmental, neurological, orthopedic, sensory, and physical challenges
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students' educational goals
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services within the school environment
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student participation and success
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, evaluations, and IEP development
• Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and classroom strategies to improve student access and independence
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Support students in developing fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-help, and functional school participation skills
