EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students with disabilities in our Malta, Illinois program. The role focuses on evaluations, goal setting, mobility improvements, and collaboration with teachers.

The position is part-time, requires valid OT licensure for school settings, and emphasizes inclusive practices. Candidates with experience in school-based environments are preferred, along with strong communication with families and staff.

Qualificações

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist with school-based experience.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, parents.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ physical abilities and relevant pediatric assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized goals to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence.
• Collaborate with teachers and the child study team.
• Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance.
• Participate in professional development and training.
