Shriners Children’s is seeking a Team Leader to supervise clinical care and manage the nursing team on an assigned shift. The role plans and coordinates patient care, applying nursing theory and CA BRN standards to optimize outcomes on the unit.

The position requires a BSN, CA RN license, and at least 1 year of RN experience, with preferred leadership experience. The role focuses on delivering high-quality pediatric care and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Formación

• BSN is required.
• RN license valid in CA.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience on the job.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers a high level of patient care using nursing process and professional judgment.
• Plans, coordinates and provides optimum patient care on the unit.
• Performs nursing skills safely and within scope of practice and policies.
• Communicates effectively with team, patients and families to ensure therapeutic interventions.
• Maintains competency and adheres to standards of practice and SHC policy.
• Ensures unit is maintained in compliance with regulatory standards and SHC policy.
