Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain in a timely fashion.
• 1 year of RN experience preferred.
• 1 year of pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong assessment skills, especially over the phone.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Proven and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
• Ability to react calmly, objectively, and effectively in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on patient assessment.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition.
• Provide patient/family education appropriate to age and condition.
• Triage calls from patients/caregivers and provide advice or referrals.
• Determine necessary care for symptomatic patients and advise on appropriate services.
• Coordinate patient care activities including scheduling tests and billing.
