Job summary

MercyOne Davenport Pediatrics Care, part of Trinity Health, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide outpatient patient care with focus on safety, effectiveness, and evidence-based practices. You will coordinate with physicians, staff and families, deliver education, and ensure accurate EMR documentation.

The role requires an active RN license (Iowa preferred) and BLS within 3 months; strong teamwork and computer skills are expected in a dynamic pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa; licensure from other states may be required based on location.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, email, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient settings using nursing processes and critical thinking.
• Coordinate care with clinicians, staff, and families; educate patients and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and manage supplies and equipment.
