Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN, seeks a Pediatric Registered Nurse to implement the nursing process for pediatric patients from newborn to 18 years, including education for patients and families and continuum of care planning.

You will collaborate with the health care team to establish goals, evaluate progress, and pursue ongoing professional growth in alignment with Board of Nursing standards. Hours include 7pm–7am, 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Plan and deliver nursing care using the nursing process.
• Educate patients and families to support care plans.
• Collaborate with the health care team to achieve patient goals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates to plan and coordinate care across the continuum.
• Analyzes information to determine nursing diagnoses.
• Uses nursing process to evaluate progress and adjust care.
• Promotes health and a safe environment.
