Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking a Pediatric RN to lead and deliver professional nursing care in the Pediatrics unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, delegate, supervise, and educate patients and families.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, outcome evaluation, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and education for self, staff, and families; this role offers a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in North Carolina (NC BON) or eNLC agreement per NC guidelines
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification preferred
• Experience in pediatric or hospital nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership facilitating delivery of professional nursing care for pediatrics patients
• Oversee direct patient care and coordinate care based on patient acuity and staff availability
• Provide education for patients, families, and staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve desired outcomes
• Document care and teaching and adhere to legal and competency requirements
