Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.

• Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty.
• Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies.
• Basic computer skills.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for designated patients.
• Coordinate and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to address patient needs.
• Provide patient and family education throughout treatment to facilitate an effective transition of care.
• Demonstrate leadership and teamwork, including mentoring new colleagues and precepting as assigned.
