Job summary

Tender Care PPEC in Richmond, TX is hiring a Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care for medically complex children in a pediatric medical daycare setting. You will administer medications, monitor health status, and document care in partnership with families and the nursing team.

We value a calm, compassionate caregiver with 1 year of pediatric experience, active RN license, and AHA CPR certification.

Qualifications

Active & Unrestricted RN license.
1 year of verifiable pediatric experience (required).
AHA CPR certification prior to start.
Full open availability for flexible scheduling Mon-Sat (required).
A calm, patient and compassionate approach with children who have developmental or behavioral needs.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized nursing care to medically complex pediatric patients.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and care plans.
Monitor patients and respond to changes in health status.
Maintain accurate, timely, and individualized nursing documentation.
Support feeding, positioning, hygiene, and other patient-specific care needs.
Collaborate with the nursing team, caregivers, and families to support continuity of care.
Follow infection control procedures, safety standards, and healthcare regulations.
Help create a positive, nurturing environment for engagement and development.
