Job summary

Tender Care PPEC in Richmond, TX is hiring a Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care for medically complex children in a pediatric medical daycare setting. You will administer medications, monitor health status, and document care in partnership with families and the nursing team.

We value a calm, compassionate caregiver with 1 year of pediatric experience, active RN license, and AHA CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Active & Unrestricted RN license.
• 1 year of verifiable pediatric experience (required).
• AHA CPR certification prior to start.
• Full open availability for flexible scheduling Mon-Sat (required).
• A calm, patient and compassionate approach with children who have developmental or behavioral needs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to medically complex pediatric patients.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and care plans.
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in health status.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and individualized nursing documentation.
• Support feeding, positioning, hygiene, and other patient-specific care needs.
• Collaborate with the nursing team, caregivers, and families to support continuity of care.
• Follow infection control procedures, safety standards, and healthcare regulations.
• Help create a positive, nurturing environment for engagement and development.

What You'll Do

• Shifts are Monday–Friday between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• No nights! No Sundays!
