Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Float Pool. This highly skilled team provides care across the hospital, including NICU, PICU, acute care, hematology/oncology, and pediatric ED, requiring adaptability and teamwork.

As a float nurse, you will coordinate nursing care using the nursing process, apply evidence-based practice, and help create the safest patient environment and best experience across units.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year pediatric experience.
• Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association).
• ACLS within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines.
• PALS within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines.

We’re Looking For:

REQUIRED:

• At least 1 year Peds experience
• Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
