Job summary

PPEC of Palm Beach is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will support medically fragile children from 0 to 21, work with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout daily care and therapies.

We provide a structured environment with multiple rooms, on-site therapists, and transportation services. The role includes weekend coverage and adherence to nursing standards within a PPEC setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in pediatric care settings.
• Valid RN license issued by Florida.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to pass a Level II background check.
• Able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of RN techniques and patient care treatments.
• Ability to work some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Promote and restore patient health under the Director of Nursing.
• Supervise assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff.
• Assist with rehabilitation activities and development of daily living skills for patients.
• Provide personal care services including hygiene, bathing, nail care and dressing.
• Administer medications via oral, enteral, intra- or subcutaneous routes.
• Monitor patient responses to medications and report observations.
• Maintain and review MAR and logs for accuracy.
