Job summary

LifeScape’s Specialty Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our pediatric rehabilitation unit. You’ll provide 24-hour care for children from birth to 21 with complex medical needs in a collaborative, family-centered team.

This full-time role offers rotating day and overnight shifts, self-scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package. You’ll join a mission-driven environment that empowers children and families to live their best lives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Valid South Dakota RN licensure required.
• Prior nursing and/or direct care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing tasks for pediatric patients for both medical complex and inpatient rehabilitation unit.
• Completes pediatric assessments, respiratory care, trach care, suctioning, neb treatments, and ventilator use.
• Communicates a clear picture of a child’s health and any changes in their status.
• Serves as a primary nurse within a specific unit.
• Administers medications/enteral feedings.
• Promotes health and safety.
• Building relationships with our long-term patients and their families.

Education
