Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to provide 1:1 care to pediatric patients, with shifts ranging 9-12 hours. Training is available for new or inexperienced nurses, and pay is competitive with weekly paychecks.

Responsibilities include implementing and adjusting care plans, administering medications, and documenting patient progress. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO; a strong training and licensing support program is also offered.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate as required by facility RN contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for pediatric clients.
• Initiates plan of care and revises as patient status changes.
• Implements therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient needs.
• Intervenes for changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed; monitors effectiveness.
• Reviews care plans and identifies education, coordination, and discharge planning needs.
