Job summary

Childrens Health of Carolina PA is seeking a compassionate Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to join our urgent care team serving pediatric patients. This role supports providers in a fast-paced pediatric clinic and ensures high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds RMA or CMA certification, has 1+ year of experience, and is proficient with Athena EHR.

Qualifications

• Must hold RMA (AMT) or CMA (AAMA) certification.
• Minimum 1 year of RMA/CMA experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with Athena EHR.
• Pediatric clinic experience a plus.
• Strong communication and patient handling.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in the clinic.
• Collect patient information and update EHR.
• Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
• Record vital signs and collect specimens.
• Administer vaccines and medications per provider.
• Schedule appointments and support billing.
• Explain procedures and guide patients.
