Job summary

Banner University Medical Group in Tucson seeks a full-time Pediatric Rheumatologist to join the Division of Pediatrics. The physician will hold a University of Arizona faculty appointment and collaborate with colleagues across multiple subspecialties.

The role includes teaching and mentoring, a 8-5 schedule, and participation in research, quality improvement, and community outreach within a respected academic medical center.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Arizona medical license by start date.
• Board certification in Pediatrics.
• Completed Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship with sub-specialty certification.
• New grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric rheumatology care and patient management.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring of trainees.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across services (Primary Care, Hospitalists, Intensivists, Infectious Disease, Radiology, Pathology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology).
• Engage in research, quality improvement, and community outreach.
• Support 24/7 pediatric hospitalist coverage as needed.
