Job summary

Nemours Children's Health is seeking Pediatric Rheumatologists to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. The selected candidates will provide specialized care in diagnosing and treating autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions in children and adolescents while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, family-centered care.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO required.
  • Board eligible/certified in pediatric rheumatology or related specialty.
  • Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of pediatric rheumatologic conditions.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests (joint exams, labs, imaging).
  • Develop individualized treatment plans including medications, physical therapy, and lifestyle interventions.
  • Participate in inpatient consults and outpatient clinics.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care conferences and case reviews.
  • Coordinate care with referring physicians and primary care providers.

  • Coordinate care with referring physicians and primary care providers
