Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking Pediatric Rheumatologists to join our team. The successful candidate will diagnose and treat autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions in children and adolescents while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, family-centered care.

Responsibilities include evaluating and managing a wide range of pediatric rheumatologic conditions, ordering and interpreting tests, and developing individualized treatment

Qualifications

• MD or DO is required.
• Board eligible or certified in pediatric rheumatology.
• Unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA eligibility.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a multidisciplinary setting.

The selected candidates will provide specialized care in diagnosing and treating autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions in children and adolescents while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of pediatric rheumatologic conditions
• Perform and interpret relevant diagnostic tests (e.g., joint exams, lab studies, imaging)
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating medications, physical therapy, and lifestyle interventions
• Participate in inpatient consults and outpatient clinics
• Participate in multidisciplinary care conferences and case reviews
• Coordinate care with referring physicians and primary care providers
